How much Gold we get from Computer Chips

As promised last time to reveal the accurate Gold content in computer chips, well, normally there are two types of chips mounted on computer mother boards PLCC and PQFP,  PLCC package chips have lesser qty. of gold than the PQFP chips. PQFP chips made in 2000 have around 2 grams of Gold per kg where as Plcc chips have little more than a gram; processors of 386 and 486 computers have 6 to 7 grams of Gold per kg. In my future posts, I will keep telling you about the accurate metal content in different components.
